The John Bentley Bowls Drive - Competition rules

     This year’s Bowls Drive begins Monday 13 April 2026 and runs until Monday 7 September 2026.

 

• ​Participants must arrive by 1.50pm to take part in the draw, with play to commence at 2pm.

• 4 woods over 10 ends.

• Matches to be played on Mondays only.

• Players are eligible for one Bowls Drive draw per Monday.

• There is no minimum number of games to be played to qualify. 

• 3 points for a win.

• 1 points for a draw.

• 0 points for a loss.

• 1 bonus point for every game played.

• Scoring will be calculated on a total of points scored. 

• If scores are tied aggregate points will determine the winner. In the event of a further tied score a playoff game will determine an ultimate winner.

• All score cards must be dated, signed and handed in on the day, by the scorer, to qualify.
